WELCOME TO KIDS WORLD!

Kids World has so much to offer your kids! We have five classes that range from Toddlers to Junior Youth during our 10:30 AM morning church service. Each class has an opportunity to engage in worship, Bible teaching and age-appropriate activities that help deepen their understanding of God and the love of Jesus in their lives.

The Gospel Project (Preschool to Elementary)

The Gospel Project is a Christ-centered chronological study of the Bible that helps children of all ages dive deep into God’s rescue plan for humanity through His Son, Jesus Christ. From Genesis to Revelation, children unpack each Bible story with fun and interactive teachings, learning activities and resources designed to help them learn and grow in their spiritual understanding of the Word of God.

Bible Studies for Life (Junior Youth)

Bible Studies for Life helps disciple teens to understand and apply the foundational truths of God’s Word. These curated Bible studies are designed to help students relate to the Bible and connect with each other through ice breaker activities, small group discussions and personal reflection questions.

THE CELEBRATION REWARDS PROGRAM

Starting January 7, 2024, kids from Preschool to Junior Youth can earn and save up reward points to redeem for their class' big grand prize at the end of the year—and we have some pretty amazing prizes! We also have Monthly Reward Days where kids can also choose to redeem their earned points for smaller rewards every last Sunday of the month from our Rewards Chest of goodies filled with candy, chocolate, toys, crafts and games!

The purpose of our Celebration Rewards Program is to encourage our kids to engage in what they're learning at Kids World and help them grow and develop spiritual disciplines like coming to church, bringing their Bible to class, tithing and memorizing Scripture.

SAFETY

Your child’s safety is of the utmost importance to us! That’s why here at Kids World, we have put in place several measures to ensure your child has a safe and enjoyable time with us while you attend the main church service, worry-free!

Secure Child Drop Off & Pick Up – Our Check-In/Check-Out Team is an essential part of your child’s security at Kids World. At the time of check-in, all children are given a unique child identification label and parents/guardians are given the corresponding label to present for pick-up after service. As a safety measure, children will only be released to adults with the corresponding identification labels.

Emergency Text Messaging System – If we need a diaper changed, have a medical emercency or want to let you know that everything is okay, parents are instantly notified by text message.

Volunteer Screening Process – All Kids World volunteers have undergone a multi-step volunteer screening process that requires completion of an application, formal interview, reference check and a cleared Police Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Check.

Plan to Protect® Certified – Plan to Protect is a Christian-based training program for child abuse awareness and prevention. At Kids World, we require all volunteers to complete the general training so our team is familiar with the warning signs and protocols of child abuse.

FACILITIES

Parents Room – Equipped with a lounge area, children’s play space and its own private washroom, our Parents Room is ideal for nursing mothers and parents with infants who want to enjoy the comfort of a relaxed, secluded space to care for their child while still catching the church service livestream.

Secondary Auditorium – Join us as we start off our service with all ages worship in our smaller scale auditorium! Kids from Preschool to Junior Youth enjoy a fun and interactive worship experience singing and dancing with their flags, ribbons and musical instruments!

Champions Room – Our certified Snoezelen® multi-sensory room is specially tailored and designed with sensory equipment and technology to help children with special needs better adapt to their environment. Accompany your child or trust them with our friendly and experienced volunteer team.

Kids World is growing and we could always use more helping hands! Whether you can serve only once a month or every Sunday, join our fun and passionate volunteer team and make a lasting impact on the lives of our children and junior youth!

We are looking to fill the following volunteer positions:

VOLUNTEER QUALIFICATIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Confirmation of a “clear” Criminal Record Check or Vulnerable Sector Check
Completion of Plan to Protect training on child abuse prevention
Has attended Toronto Celebration Church regularly for a minimum of 6 months
Commitment to a 10:10 am arrival time on scheduled dates
Commitment to attending a monthly volunteer meeting (first Sunday of every month following the morning church service) and other meetings/trainings, as needed
Maintains a godly lifestyle, exemplifies being a leader in the Body of Christ and maintains a vibrant, growing relationship with Jesus through the regular reading of the Bible, prayer and church attendance
